- Number 1 – The Cosmopolitan
Ingredients:
3 scoops ice cubes, 60mls (1/4 cup) vodka, 15mls (3 tsp) cranberry juice, 1/2 lime, juiced, 2 thin strips lime rind, to garnish.
Method:
Place the ice, vodka, cranberry juice and lime juice in a cocktail shaker and shake well. Pour into cocktail glasses and serve, each garnished with a lime rind strip.
Feel free to adjust the quantities of vodka, cranberry juice and lime juice to suit your own taste.
- Number 2 – Sex On The Beach
Ingredients:
1 1/2 part vodka
1/2 part peach schnapps
2 part cranberry juice
2 part orange juice
Method:
Add all ingredients together in a shaker, fill with ice, then shake. Serve in a highball glass.
For a modern twist, you can substitute the orange juice with pineapple juice.
- Number 3 – Appletini
Ingredients:
1 oz DeKuyper Sour Apple Pucker
1 part Sour Apple Schnapps (Pucker)
1 part Apple Juice
Method:
Stir ingredients together with crushed ice in a cocktail/martini glass, and serve.
- Number 4 – Hummingbird
Ingredients:
1 oz bananas
1 oz coconut cream
1 oz creme de bananes
1 oz rum
1/2 oz Tia Maria® coffee liqueur
1 oz strawberries
crushed ice
Method:
Mix all ingredients in a blender until smooth.
- Number 5 – Ruby Relaxer
Ingredients:
1 shot peach schnapps
1 shot vodka
1 shot Malibu® coconut rum
pineapple juice
cranberry juice
Method:
Combine peach schnapps, vodka and malibu rum in a cocktail glass. Almost fill with pineapple juice, add a splash of cranberry juice, and serve.
- Number 6 – Tom Collins
Ingredients:
2 oz gin
1 oz lemon juice
1 tsp superfine sugar
3 oz club soda
1 maraschino cherry
1 slice orange
Method:
In a shaker half-filled with ice cubes, combine the gin, lemon juice, and sugar. Shake well. Strain into a collins glass almost filled with ice cubes. Add the club soda. Stir and garnish with the cherry and the orange slice.
- Number 7 – The Mojito
Ingredients:
1.25 oz Captain Morgan® Original spiced rum
12 mint leaves
1 tbsp sugar
0.5 oz lime juice
2 oz soda
Method:
Place mint leaves in bottom of glass. Add crushed ice, Captain Morgan Original Spiced Rum, sugar, and lime juice, and muddle. Add soda water and garnish with mint leaves.
- Number 8 – Strawberry Daquiri
Ingredients:
50ml of white rum, 10ml freshly squeezed lime juice, 5 or so ripe strawberries, Sugar syrup to taste (Stir 500g sugar into 250ml water and bring to boil, stirring constantly. Cool and refrigerate.)
Method:
You can make this in a shaker but it’s best done in a blender. Whiz it up with four ice cubes, pour into a chilled margarita glass and garnish with a strawberry.
- Number 9 – Carribbean Breeze
Ingredients:
1 oz Vodka
1/2 oz Coconut Rum
2 oz Cranberry Juice
3 oz Pineapple Juice
Method:
Mix all ingredients in a cocktail shaker / stirrer and pour into an unusually shaped glass. Add Crushed Ice and decorations to create a great speciality drink from an easy to make recipe!
- Number 10 – Fruit Tingle
Ingredients:
30 ml Blue Curacao, 30 ml Vodka, Lemonade, 1 dash Raspberry cordial, 3 – 4 Ice cubes.
Method:
Pour the Blue Curacao and Vodka over the ice in a highball glass. Fill with lemonade and at the same time add the dash of cordial. Be sure not to go overboard with the cordial otherwise it overpowers the fruit tingle effect.
Ideally served in a Highball glass
